There is beauty in the impression that time leaves on the materials we find in the existing ruin: granite, oxidized wood, and the encroachment of nature's green. This project aims to preserve this character, resorting to an intervention that allows inhabitation without causing harm. The intervention maintains this almost nostalgic essence of time as a canvas for the overlay of memories of the place, its past uses, and the transforming walls, floors, and ceilings.

The new house results from an appropriation within the old masonry walls and the compartments are crafted from glass, metal, concrete, and gypsum walls. In contrast to the past, these elements define a new dwelling stage in this place.

The new forms of these spaces extend the past and, among themselves, create a narrative.
